Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 October 2026.
These terms describe the basis on which services are offered through this website. Paid work is always covered by a written scope and agreement for that project, which takes precedence over this page where the two differ.
1. About this website
This website introduces Girish Mohan and the services offered. The content provided here is general information and does not constitute professional, legal or financial advice.
2. Services
Services described across this site — web design and development, software development, e-commerce, school management solutions, SEO, WordPress work, website repair, video editing, photography and design — are offered as professional freelance services. Specific scope, deliverables, timelines and fees for any work are agreed in writing before work begins and are not governed by these website terms alone.
3. Quotations and estimates
Any estimate or quotation provided is valid for the period stated and is based on the information available at the time. Changes in scope after agreement may affect the final quotation, and will be confirmed with the client before additional work proceeds.
4. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and any access required to complete work, and for ensuring they hold necessary rights to content (text, images, media) supplied for projects.
5. Third-party services
Some projects involve third-party services (such as hosting providers, payment gateways, domain registrars and analytics tools) that operate under their own terms. We will help configure these services but are not responsible for their availability or their terms.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed, original work created for a client is licensed for the agreed purpose upon full payment. Proprietary code, techniques and tools retained by the developer remain the developer's property where expressly agreed.
7. Limitation of liability
I provide services with reasonable skill and care, but I do not guarantee that any website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or impervious to third-party actions such as hacking attempts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the total fees paid for the relevant project.
8. Cancellation
Cancellations are handled according to the terms agreed for each project. Partially completed work is generally billed for the portion already carried out.
9. Governing law
These terms are subject to the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be directed through the contact page.
