Privacy Policy

This website is run by Girish Mohan, an independent designer and developer working from Kottayam, Kerala, India. This page explains exactly what happens to information you send through this site, and what the site records on its own.

1. Information you send through the enquiry form

The contact form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, the service and type of project you are interested in, an approximate budget band, your preferred timeline, how you found the site, a description of what you need, and an optional file attachment. All of these fields are optional except name, email and message.

They are used for one purpose: to understand your enquiry and reply to it. They are not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with marketing lists.

2. Where enquiries are stored and who can see them

Submitted enquiries are stored in a private data store on the web server hosting this site. They are readable only by signing in to the password-protected admin area, which is restricted to the site owner. Submitted files are stored in a non-public upload directory and are not linked anywhere on the public site.

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so that ongoing or returning work has context. You can ask for an enquiry to be deleted at any time (see section 7).

3. Email

When the form is submitted, a notification is emailed to the site owner's mailbox and an automatic acknowledgement is sent to the address you provided, both through the site's own outgoing mail server. The mail server records the recipient address, subject and delivery status so that failures can be diagnosed. Message bodies and the mail password are not written to that log.

4. Analytics — first-party and cookie-less

This site uses its own analytics, not Google Analytics and not any third-party tracking service. Page views are recorded by a small script that posts to this website's own server, and the records are stored on this server.

Each record contains the page path, the referring source where the browser supplies one, a coarse country label derived from the request, the device class, and whether the visit was a returning one. Raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings and any identifier that could single out an individual are not stored. No analytics cookie is set, no cross-site profile is built, and the data is never sent to another company.

Analytics records are kept for up to 90 days and are then deleted automatically. Visits from browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, and visits by the site owner while signed in to the admin area, are not recorded at all. Analytics can also be switched off entirely by the owner.

5. Cookies

Reading pages on this site does not set a cookie. A single, strictly necessary session cookie is used in two situations: when you submit the enquiry form (to prevent forged cross-site submissions) and when the owner signs in to the admin area. It contains no advertising or tracking information and is not shared with anyone.

There are no advertising cookies, no social-media pixels, and no third-party tags of any kind on this site.

6. Who processes data on my behalf

The website and its data are hosted by a web hosting provider, which stores files and databases on the owner's behalf. Email is delivered through a mailbox on this domain. Neither is given permission to use your information for their own marketing.

Information is disclosed outside these processors only if the law requires it.

7. Your rights

You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write through the contact page or email gireeshmohan@​live.com and the request will be handled within a reasonable period, normally within a few working days.

8. Security and limits

Reasonable measures are applied: encrypted connections, server-side validation, rate limiting of the form, restricted file types on uploads, and a password-protected admin area. No method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive documents such as identity papers or payment details through the form.

9. Children

This site is intended for people arranging professional work. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles information changes, this page will be updated and the review date at the top changed with it.
